Two-time Grammy-winning jazz/soul sensation Gregory Porter returns to the UK next June, kicking off his tour at Swansea Building Society Arena on Thursday 24th June 2027.
Gregory Porter last performed in the UK in 2025 and will return with a set spanning his acclaimed career, bringing together songs from across his celebrated back catalogue.
Drawing inspiration from the Southern Gospel sounds of his California upbringing and his mother’s Nat King Cole record collection, Porter has forged his own distinctive style that effortlessly blends jazz, soul and gospel.
Porter began singing in jazz clubs while attending San Diego State University on a football scholarship, before moving to New York City to pursue music. He earned widespread acclaim for his early albums Water and Be Good, before achieving international success with Liquid Spirit and earning his first Grammy Award. Its follow-up, Take Me To The Alley, secured a second Grammy and cemented his reputation as one of the defining jazz artists of his generation.
The announcement comes as Porter marks the 10th anniversary of his critically acclaimed album Take Me to the Alley, with a special limited-edition 2LP vinyl released in May 2026 to celebrate the milestone.
Gregory Porter was also honoured with the 2025 Edison Jazz Lifetime Achievement Award. His creative work continues to reach beyond music, most recently with Good Goodbye, written for the Netflix film Goodbye June, directed by Kate Winslet.
With his “liquid gold” voice and soulful performances, Porter has built a global following through his unique blend of jazz, soul and gospel.
They don’t come much cooler than Gregory Porter – a tour not to be missed.
